Pros
These strips are very inexpensive and easy to use. They are worth the sanity check if you suspect that you have metals in your pool.
I use several times each summer to check for copper levels in my inground pool. Ionized copper is essential to inhibit algae growth.
Cons
They are inconsistent in results between strips. The coloring is so non-distinct it makes differentiating between levels extremely difficult.
