The usual you get the filter and soak it for 5 minutes then install the filter to the lid push hard to connect there will be a click

There is a filter for the water that is attached to the cap so you fill the water bottle with normal water and the filter works as you drink the water which means basically that the water doesnt flow quickly out of the bottle in fact you cant really pour the water out you really have to suck the water out almost like youre drinking with a straw now the spout on the top of the water bottle is smaller and made for you to do this but i dont like that the flow of the water is really really slow

But the manufacturer says it can be used with coffee without the filter
