It operates really well for long periods of time as i've been using it for 3 months and its still great. Highly recommend. Seriously though it seems to work just fine for the past week.
Cons
The aquasana restricts flow so badly it leaves the soap and shampoo still in your hair. It is great at filtering but all the reviews about leakage are true. Too much residues from the filter system clogged the outlet holes of the shower head.

Yes the shower head is a different color than the filter but im not so vain that thats a problem
