It filters fast but it dies fast, too.

Packaging/appearance

I also used the aquasana filter when i needed bulk filtered water, such as when washing produce.

My tap water (nyc water) reading was 59 and after filtered thru the aquasana it was 57.

Competitiveness

I tried several avenues for contacting aquasana by email and never heard back from them.

I have not encountered the leak issue, yet, but this unit is just a scam in terms of filteration.

If it weren't for the aquasana brand and loving them in other ways, i would only give this filter a 1.
