Pros

There was quite a distinct earthy smell in our ice cubes and tap water, after it was left in a bottle for a day. It’s not like the salt systems that make the water slippery and slimy-like.

Used this to replace an aging whole house water filtration system for a well. Be sure to use sealant tape and solvent welding compounds for a leak free system.

Review based on the installation and mechanics of the system. Bought the unit on sale during a black friday event and saved money on top of it all. Using a pro is worth the cost.

Great taste. Zero complaints.

Calling customer service is a nightmare. Time consuming and nothing gets done. I hope this review will help others avoid this costly mistake.

The uv filter housing corroded and started leaking. Talk to your plumber before buying.

The warranty is void if you install this yourself. I'm assuming they wanted me to set up a tripod because they wanted a video of me doing all of this in order for them to send me a replacement filter. My pictures are sideways, sorry.

If your water has moderate contaminants this system will clog up and saturate the media in the big tanks no matter how often you change the filters. Plumbers use chemical to test the water and the water is still very hard.
