This filter is very high quality and as soon as you inspect it you will see how well made it is.
Considering my water is so bad the filter is already getting clogged after not even a full month of use.
As you can imagine, this means the water has to be filtered a lot before it comes out of our faucet.
Price
Works perfectly, and was less expensive than buying directly from the website.
No filter, and certainly no sub micron filter, will cost that little.
Cost is high but i needed it quick.
This filter is a bit pricey to have to use monthly.
Shipping
I have them on set delivery every 6 months through amazon.
The filter was here the next day and we were able to change it quickly.
Packaging/appearance
Is what we need in our house right sizegood material and package.
The packaging claims it lasts 6 months which sounds about right.
The one filter came packaged in plastic.
Competitiveness
Don't see any difference in the product from those purchased from my other vendor.
It's going to be difficult to compare filters as most of them do the same thing and the installation is simply dropping it into the tank.
I've used two other filters of a different brand before this one and they did a similar job.
If you can't find cheaper alternatives, just buy this.

Installation was a simple dropin a little food grease on the filter threads and letting about 10 gallons of water flow through to get clean drinking water through the faucet

Should be a three month delay between changes but sometimes our water gets very fine grit and mud silt and it needs to be changed every month instead

I took it out washed it off and put it back in only to have to come back and do that again a few hours later

I have a 5 micron sediment prefilter then a 1 micron prefilter before the main carbon filter

The 5 needs replacing the most as it turns brown with rust and sediment the fastest
