The soft jacket is fairly water resistant due to the dwr coating but its not water proof by any means had some short encounter with the rain in pacific northwest the outside shell and the insulation was wet after 15 min of downpour but hasnt soaked all the way inside

While i was saddened to see arcteryx move their production overseas i have to say the quality still seems to be top notch

Weightwise it is lighter than a hoodie and literally feels like you are not wearing a jacket at all
