Pros

The atom ar is an awesome addition to your arsenal of gear. This is the best and singularly most versatile all around (ar) garment i have ever owned.

Size m, 5'11 168lb athletic build. The sleeves are close fitting but you'll be glad when it's windy outside.

Superb jacket. Moves well even with outer beta sv jacket for shell.

The elastic cuffs are great in sealing in the heat. Zipper works smoothly and doesn't have issues getting caught or starting.

Cons

A better alternative, in regards to compressibility, weight to warmth ratio is the rab xenon.

While i was saddened to see arcteryx move their production overseas i have to say the quality still seems to be top notch.

I went with the atom ar performed far above my expectations.

I bought one to use as a mid layer under a gortex outer layer on a cold weather sailing trip 4 years ago.

This is the 4th arc'teryx atom jacket i currently own.
