Might just be the bionix lineup. The connection/wire comes from the middle of the fan vs the side which means the wires pass infront of thefan blades. Very odd/bad design choice.

Some of them when mounted facing bottom will make a rattling sound when starting up from not moving but thats just about 1 second and then it works as normal after that
