All that said tho for the price i am very pleased with this product.

I'm quite happy with the quality of this cooler.

It installed easily and securely and made uniform contact with the cpu.

My case is a mid size atx with the psu mounted sideways over the cpu, so it can get fairly warm.

So far so good and great price.

I'm running ubuntu on this thing with upgraded memory and an (msi) nvidia 1030 (as a media-center pc) with the stock 180w psu.

It actually rivals higher cost cooler in performance and noise level for this small price.

If i had known sooner that $20 and two days later with prime shipping, that my apartment would be this quiet now, i'd have done it sooner.

    Again this is for the xps 8930 so for you it might be a different installation process but the brackets should line up to the screwholes as some have said they dont

    I had to rotate this new processor heat sink 180 degrees from what directions said to do because the heat pipes were hitting a large factory heat sink on one of the motherboard chip sets

    Cheap plastic push pins and screws that thread into said cheap plastic is far from ideal but it does feel fairly solid when fully put together
