Pros

Cooler runs at 34° with a 27° ambient. At full load. Cooler keeps temps well under the chips max temp even on full load in a restricted case.

The heat sink is huge, it keeps my pc stable and cool even under stress testing. If it performs anything like the original it'll still be spinning for another ten years. Good easy mounting.

Probably the easiest aftermarket cooler to install. This had me sweating for a post in the hopes i hadn't cracked the ihs or the die.



Cons

It is virtually impossible to install whilst the motherboard is in the case. Unless you have less than a full bank of ram chips it is unlikely to fit.

I bought this to replace a stock amd wraith stealth cooler that was supplied with the ryzen 5 3600.


Good dependable brand mounting was a little bit iffy with the bracket but lowered the temperature 10° over the stock cooler.


Also do be careful with the fan.

I ordered this to replace the stock ryzen cooler it is much quieter than the wraith prism and slightly cooler.

Competitiveness


Aesthetically this fan looks good and is able to fit in a matx case.


Using on ryzen 3600 + msi mortarmax + gtx 1070does the job for the price i think.


Installation on the socket fm2 was a doddle, though you do need a long, thin cross-head screwdriver.

    If installing again id probably tape backplate against mb before placing cooler against cpu and apply pressure on screw to avoid messing up paste
