Pros & Cons
Pros
The fan is very quiet compared with stock one, but does have noise about 1/4 of that of stock cooler. And the noise increased under load to more audible level, buti think it is a great improvement from the notorious amd stock cooler. I no longer hear ... Read More
Love this for my amd a8 apu. Installation while the motherboard is in the case is difficult due to lack of space, but i managed with the help of another pair of hands. It fits perfectly in my ultra - u12-41933 - xb mid-tower v2 case - atx, microatx, u... Read More
For the negative reviews of airflow direction, cooling efficiency, and last of all ease of installation. Temps are lower because of the larger heat sync and heatpipes, but best of all it's so quiet!
Kudos to arctic. That's all i am expecting now. Ok, one minor downside. Should have done this a long time ago. Meredith.
I has 4 plastic spacers and it screws right on. It utilizes the stock back-plate and screws.
Cons
Incredibly disapointed. The fins of the heat sink completely block the holes that the screws need to go through! No change. Missing rubber grommets between fan and heatsink. Also missing a spacer for the fan.

Quality
Works very well & easy to install.

Even when pushed hard my a10 series apu's never come close to overheating.
The bearing was going and making an awful noise.
Price
I am amazed by not only the price of this cooler, but the performance.
This cooler is definitely worth the price and even gives you more than what it cost.
At $20, it was easily the cheapest way to significantly improve the temp, loudness and efficiency of my system.
For the price, the performance on a decently overclocked cpu is impressive.
Competitiveness
I have a similar set up on a intel board with a cooler master and the oc'ed intel i7 cpu is running hotter.
Compared to the stock cooler this cooler is much better at preforming and is the same thing as driving a hybrid vs a regular car.
7 ghz amd phenom ii it gave me the same load temps as the huge noctua d14.
I highly doubt there's a better cpu cooler for the money paid, especially if silence is your goal.
