While im sure the noctua fan has better airflow than the arctic cooler one i dont think it would make but a 23c difference in temps though i didnt test this

Check processor temperature to see if approaching the maximum 90degrees celsius before going this route

In my asus z97e system board there is only a millimeter or two of clearance from the last memory stick but it did fit without trimming or any modification to the unit itself
