Pros
It is at this point that i want to address something that a lot of folks are mulling over. The one difference is the shape of the lcd display. One other difference is in the packaging.
Cons
Arduino products are great but cheap sensors break all the time so defective carriers are bound to happened. It’s probably safer to just by cheap sensors in bulk and wire up yourself. Wouldn't recommend this kit.

Kit is simple and easy to use and provides people with a great entry point into iot development.
I have found this kit to be fun to use and pretty easy to get started.
The explore kit is meant to be used over and over again by students with nothing being permanently built.

Price
At 6 or 7 dollars a month for this service, that drops the actual price of this kit to about $20.
00 while it is on sale or $44.
It's a little pricey but it is nice to get an all-in-one type of kit.
At first glance this seems like a steep price for a handful of items, and i have to admit i was skeptical too.
Shipping
That was a mistake as it cost me for shipping when that would have been covered here.
Packaging/appearance
One other difference is in the packaging.
The opla kit comes in a cardboard box which is used for parts storage unless you supply your own storage container.

But the hidden gem in all of this is the 12months of free internet access to the arduino server where you can access your projects from anywhere in the world using your smartphone or computer
