When it is working it is very convenient it took all my prints and usually works first time my wife on the other hand it took many tries to register hers and some times to read them too

Takes a little while to get your head around the instructions there are a few assembly instructions not totally clear

I received the lock as a gift and installed it without any problems but after few weeks i experienced a problem with opening the door which was a result of a failed latch mechanism

After contacting customer service they explained to me that i had installed the lock incorrectly and sent me a replacement for the damaged latch mechanism

The lock defaults to being locked which means that youll never forget to lock the house or whatever but if you need to be in and out quickly and easily you can press a button to set the lock to remain unlocked until you release it

The locks are expensive and should have lasted more than a year
