Pros

My only complaint with these boots is that the inside seam of the piping (on the instep where it bends) rubbed my skin just below and to the rear of my ankle. They also provide some much needed traction for those slippery sidewalks.

They are discreet and not too flashy. They look good with dark or medium denim.

Cons

These boots are not comfortable at all.

The redwing 1155 i bought are easier to get on but i do like the feel of the ariat better at this point.

These are the most comfortable western boots out of the box.

After doing research on different sites and reading reviews on boots i came across the ariat.

Competitiveness

In size 11d, my size, they feel a bit smaller than the ariat rambler, but fits me perfectly.

I bought my first pair of ariat ropers in 2006, and they lasted me throughout 5.

After 4 days i went back to ariat insole and they now feel great.

By comparison i had some ariat work hogs and they lasted me about 1.
