Pros
The fit, after some necessary stretching's due to a high instep and a wide ankle, is excellent. The toe box has plenty of room, but doesn’t feel too big. Heel is not too tall tall - easy to walk in and safe.
Cons
Very dissatisfied with these boots. It seems that the boots were made with a cheaper coated leather. Now for the disappointment.
The heel is really large- clunky and chunky. Both inside ankles were rubbed raw by the large seam on the uppers.
The counter, which was sewn poorly, is coming completely unstitched. These lasted about 10 months before they went into the trash. I am disappointed that i can no longer return them and that i am stuck with a poor pair of overpriced boots that did not... Read More

The instep also runs pretty narrow, and though they loosen, i wish i would've gone with the ee size, but that's kind of on me.

Excellent work boot, my second pair -- but surprised the price jumped 50% in four years

For shipping out of the lower 48, they came in fast!
Packaging/appearance
So just took delivery and right out of the box i can tell i will like these a lot.
Polishing tips: don't try to polish these boots without stripping off the factory coating.
: word of warning: print out the ariat sizing chart and measure your foot!
After a bit a of research, i found the ariat printable sizing chart any my foot measured in at a bit bigger than 11.
Competitiveness
Way better than my old justin's or shepler's pairs i used to buy.
Will definitely be ordering more ariat in the future.

As ropers they blur the line of a roper and a standard western style which i dont want

I have the thinnest aftermarket footbeds in them now just to make them functional

If these were a better fit i could look past the shank height but right now they just arent my gotos thanks to my 8 lacers
