Pros & Cons
Pros
I have chrome mounts on my harley's but this works very well, easy to install and is rock solid. Has pads for smaller bars as well (or just buy the 1 version) seems sturdy.
Insert an appropriately sized cotter pin. This device snaps into the back of the clamp garmin supplies and then connects to the mount.
Cons
The ball attachment is cheap and bulky. The rubber gaskets also stick out and look tacky. Nothing was mentioned about different sized balls or different sized sockets. Used very little.
Highlights
Quality
Interchangeable with the roadvise holder for a great secure fit of larger phones and gps.
It's good quality and easy to mount on handle bars.
Other than that, the materials are good quality.
Shipping
Received it fast and it worked perfectly
I found this item made by arkon mounts (part number gn032) for 9 bucks and a couple of bucks more for shipping.
Packaging/appearance
I don’t have to worry about it flying off my bike into the slipstream.
Competitiveness
Used this on my 2017 jeep jku vector off road dash accessory mounting bar.
I bought a refurbished garmin zumo 4.
I will probably get another to put on my wife’s bike so she can use the garmin on her’s too.
