Competitiveness
Although higher priced than a comparable product (usually plastic), this mount appears to be of well finished cast aluminum.
Using it as a mount for my panasonic g7.
Bought this to mount a cannon 80d to my wall to save some room / not use a tripod for filming videos.

When you think you have it perfect and give the final tightening turn it changes updownleftright a bit to not be exactly what you framed up so it is a guessing game not a science

Very sturdy all metal except for the adjustment knobs and camera stage which are hard plastic

Camera stage has a slightly cushioned rubber mount to gently but firmly tighten the camera in place

Im not sure how much weight this could hold since my projector is very light but ive tested its resistance with the anchors and its pretty sturdy but for really heavy cameras i would suggest trying to attach it to a stud
