When you tighten the pole with the hex screw on the base the tablet can’t rotate in a circle instead you would have to move the entire stand to the position you’d like

If you wanted to attach your phone or another holder you could simply detach this holder from the mount and attach arkon’s other holders

At the bottom of the holder has two foam tipped plastic legs which can freely move along the edges of your tablet
