This is the main gadget you need with gopro. Also used it on gaff for underwater video and gaff shots while fishing offshore. If your handlebars are perpendicular to the line of sight you're recording, then it's fantastic.

It hold securely in nearly all conditions.

Cons

The nut is loose, unlike an actual gopro mount which makes disconnecting a camera a pain in the a$$. On a mountain bike, the trail vibrations cause the gopro camera to move about - not a secure enough grip.
