Plastic covers are very deceiving. I have neither and hate the inconvenience code issues pose. Returned to vendor for hassle-free refund.

If you are installing this in a areawhere there is traffic i would suggest buying a device with a metal cover plate as the plastic plate may break if stepped on

As others have said the design of the outlet doesnt allow certain plugs to fit into the socket
