Pros & Cons
Pros
Once mounted, tightening them down to hold positioning is a bit tricky. They are strong and mount easily and are very secure. Would recommend drywall screws for heavier loads when mounting.
Easy to install, easy to adjust and look to be very sturdy. Has enough range of motion to align them how you want. Easy to mount on outside of home,so better for camera than the magnet mount.
This mount is longer than most others which provides more clearance. Compared with the magnetic mounts that came with arlo cameras, these mounts affords more flexibility in orientating the cameras.
Cons
The tighter you screw the base, the more friction holds the camera in place. Now, i have a permanent flaccid rod dangling above one of the most visible areas of the house. Turns out the adhesive was no good.
