Pros
Cooks chinese long grain, japanese short grain, california calrose this method with no problem spanning dozen of rice cookers. It cooks enough rice to feed 35-40 people. Cooked rice in this cooker is very fluffy and soft.
Cons
Visible damaged on the external wall (milky part); inner wall near the heat element, visible manufacturing defect. The the twisted plastic string hung lose on the cord, a visible sign that indicated someone had unbundle the cord.
Cooker is too hot, cooks too fast, not evenly. Rice sticks to the bottom and is overcook.

That being said it does burn the rice at the bottom so we are just careful to not serve that but when you are making 50 quarts of rice through the entire day and holding it at temp that will happen

It came with two sizes of measuring cups and the instructions are clear in portions of rice to water for various quantities

As noted in other comments cleaning is a little challenging as rice does stick to the bottom fairly easily

This rice cooker does not have a seal so it does not 34steam34 the rice as expected however it does have an extra large capacity to make enough for a big gathering
