This is one sturdy, compact hard working unit.

It is easy to operate, heats up nicely, and i can hear the thermostat kicking on and off.

Once it got hot, which didn't take too long, the residue (which did smell awful) burned off in less than ten minutes.

I'd never buy a two-burner again as it takes up too much space, is heavy, and is not practical to use two pots on it.
