I had one 8 or so years ago, but non-stick liner started peeling, kinda large, and i just never replaced it.
With the non-stick version, the bottom of the pot was really cheap and would erode in the dishwasher.
Price
For the 2 bucks or so extra it cost me, if the pot shoots craps, i get a new one.
Competitiveness
I bought this small aroma brand stainless steel-bowl rice cooker to replace one with teflon-lined bowl.
I previously owned the cheaper non-stick pot version, and i really prefer the stainless steel model for several reasons.
So now that i’ve switched to a whole-foods plant-based diet/lifestyle, i eat tons more whole grain brown rice.

The plastic spoon included is useless it doesnt have any ridges so you cant serve rice with it

Use it for cooking rice and quinoa would also use it for porridge groats buckwheat or anything else of that sort

We tend to use asian stickier rice as well drier southeast asian rices

Rice cooks in a fine time we just unplug it as soon as possible after rice is done so rice wont dry out on keep warm setting as other reviewers have suggested

I followed my standard method based on package instructions for the rice i happen to like organic californian brown basmati i expect following instructions on other types would be equally successful
