Pros & Cons
Pros
Takes a while for the burner to dissipate it's heat. Rice cooked in this manner is fluffy and healthy. It cooks rice perfectly in 20 minutes.
Have no difficulty everytime. The only con is that i should have purchased the bigger size. Ideal capacity for 1 to 4 people.
It works beautifully. Device has two flaws which are easily addressed. Not a dealbreaker though.
Cons
Boils over trying to make one cup of porridge. The stainless bowl is nice but the unit as a whole is worthless. The rice it cooks is always mushy.
As much as i wanted to love this rice maker, it seems like more of a risk than a reward.
Highlights
Quality
This stainless steel model is heavier and has the feel of quality.
The on-off lever feels solid and the lights are bright.
The product description is misleading, it holds 6 cups of cooked rice, not 14.
So, i try to keep an eye on the rice when it's cooking, and shut it off manually as soon as the water is boiled away.
Price
Was skeptical for the price but this dues a great job.
Let me just say that no one on this planet needs a $200 rice cooker with 9 functions.
I think the price is very reasonable.
Competitiveness
Better for your health compared to other brands that use cancer causing materials.
They pretty much have a universal pot size on these 6cup models because it fit just fine the different brand model i had at home.
