The middle part of the lid was supposed to be secured to the stainless steel rim. It was meant to be detachable by pressing the two little * on the side.

I was worried about the quality of the tea maker since it is a lot cheaper, howeever, it didn't disappointment me.
I’ve been using this kettle everyday during my postpartum period for over one week now and i could not be happier with this product.
They have different set steeping times, but those are often not corresponding with the recommended steep time of the tea i have.
Price
Only about the price , too high.
Packaging/appearance
You can put ginseng or tea directly in the kettle and boil with water.

I was eyeing on buydeem tea maker but that was too expensive for me

However i hate the tea basket design has to pull off the basket from the lid to refill would really appreciate it if the maker can change it to refill by removing the lid only

The least favourite was the tea strainer it did keep the ingredients in the strainer but doesn’t really help bring out the flavour

The temperatures are all in fahrenheit and the handy booklet doesnt even offer the equivalent temperatures
