Seems to last 6 to 8 hours on the highest setting.

It is best worn under a light jacket so you cannot see the light on the outside of the vest

This vest has saved me from freezing however today when i went to turn it on after being plugged in all night to charge it turned on the light button on the vest blinked snd turned off
