If you switch the r9ds receiver from pwm to sbus mode see instructions then you can plug it into the rcin of the pixhawk to avoid having a bunch of pwm wires on your drone

When i first got it i plugged in the aa batteries and was surprised that it wouldnt turn on

Apparently you can insert the batteries such that they dont touch the terminals

The battery pack is so tight that the aa will not be touching each other causing a loss of power
