Cons

Wi-fi/router combo is the worst product i've seen. It requires, for some reason, a mobile app to set up. When the 'scan qr code' button is pressed, the phone camera turns on then immediately off.

Been working very well and with full speed.

The installation of this new modem router combo was not smooth.

I didn’t have an ethernet cable so i had to activate it “manually”, but that didn’t work and i had to contact my isp (spectrum).

Price

This one, 100 dollars once and done.

I was paying the cable co 15 dollars a month for years, renting the combo modem and router.

I don’t look forward to going through this again and the price was right, if it works for years.

Competitiveness

I was skeptical about purchasing a refurbished one but this works better than the device i had rented from comcast.
