Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to install and comes with low profile bracket if needed as well as some case screws and small screwdriver. Was a breeze to set up, really just plug and play.
Routinely around 875 to 900 mbps at main router and usually show 8 to 1 gbps between main router and each node. Finally true gigabit router. Check out the screenshot of this mornings speed test.
Make sure dns is set to auto. Auto. Add stability to your wifi system. No longer need extender for basement either.
Cons
I regret this decision every day. The reviews on amazon are skewed it would seem, external reviews are not as favorable for this device and i'd recommend avoiding. Do not buy this product from amazon sellers.
The major downfall is that these can only be setup using an app. Functionality relies 100% on a truly awful mobile app. The app is clean but glitchy.
Highlights
Quality
I replaced my old huawei router and am very happy with the results.
I like the design, and more importantly, i like the ease of set-up and the wi-fi performance of this product.
Tinkering with the app, i have yet to find a way to prioritize a specific device, i'm hopeful that is an option.
I wish i had splurged and opted for the 2-pack.
