Working just like brand new , i am happy with the modem

Exactly what i needed for a perfect price .
And while i could have swapped it out and tired another i figured i'd try out a quality modem if the price was right.
Packaging/appearance
The factory refurb arrived like new, sealed in the box, with the oem packaging identifying it as a refurbished unit.
Competitiveness
Just link it with a cat5 cable and you are good to go.
Modem is in excellent condition & xfinity tech support had me up and running in less than 30mins!
I bought this unit with a bit of hesitation as it was a refurb.
I bought this to replace an old cable modem w comcast.

The one restart was the isp pushing firmware for this model of modem

Dont let people tell you otherwise its your isps responsibility to push the firmware for the modem on initial connection otherwise your modem will not get the settings it needs for your account

Generates a decent amount of heat so make sure the modem has good ventilation or the hardware will reboot itself

Its basically a minicomputer and the hardware has thermal limits just like your big boy pc

A lot of people are saying that they are having issues with this either out of the box or some time down the road so i am reserving the right to change this review at a later time should this issue occur to me
