Pros

Rental modem is cheaper than buying your own. Comcast unlimited plans are expensive. Works great with wi-fi, internet, free ota network tv and 4k free tv.

The speed is amazing even on the 2. Fricken router. Its fast and never fails. Has better distance than my previous apple router.

Cons

Arris claims a warranty but makes you pay for shipping both ways to replace your item. This is in addition to paying for returning your own unit.

Screen capture shows how slow the login page loads. Even opening a webpage is slow and difficult. The admin webpage is also very slow.

After troubleshooting nearly 6 months, called their customer care team. They confirm it is defective unit. Arris claims that there are no software updates.

Great and saves me money on my monthly bill!

Great modem for comcast, priced a bit high.

The modem rental i save @ $25 per month will pay for the arris in 8 months.

I paid $4200 for modem rental over the years not to mention cable box rental in the thousands both gone for good.
