Pros
Very satisfied with this arris router/modem combo. Has run flawlessly since it was installed. Definitely recommend for a combo modem and wi-fi.
It works perfectly, and whenever the power flicks off (a monthly summer occurrence in columbus, ohio), it resets quickly. Works as advertized.
Cons
Worked well for the first couple of months with charter spectrum. Stopped working with * after 3 months of spotty network.
Xfinity modem/router constantly drops out. I'm supposed to be receiving 600mbps, but on 2. Ghz my wifi is only about 30-50 mbps.
The only way to fix it is to reset the modem or leave it unplugged for a long period of time. Attempted to work with arris to return for repair or replacement under the 2 yr warranty. Had to cycle all of the printers (three of them, of course on diffe... Read More

Works well,seems well made, happy with no buffering.

0 works fine; what really mattered as far as performance was the high number of channels this modem has (32x8).
I couldn’t use this product because it is cable fed and i needed an ethernet connection so i returned it

This is amazing and worth the price.
I purchased this to save the $16 a month my isp was charging for the modem and router they supplied.
We picked up one of these from amazon warehouse for about $71.

Competitiveness
If i didn't know better, i'd think it was brand new for less than half the price of a new one.
I am still upset with arris for allowing it to be on amazon, showing a rated speed of 800 mbps.
Went with arris as it was the brand the isp used for their modems.
This is so much better than the netgear that cost more and had problems and needing reboots after a few weeks.
