    After trying that with no success customer service sent me a new router at no charge to help get a wifi connection assuming spectrum recently took over time warner curiously at the same time i had lost my wifi connection had blocked

    The modem was fine unfortunately time warner cable disables the wifi when you dont lease it from them

    If you were thinking you could save money by purchasing your own modem you will be dissappointed

    The problem is that the service provider in this case spectrum doesnt want to use the wifi on your modem so they disable it and some or almost all the technical support dont know how to fix that
