The quality seems amazing, there is not a single scratch or mark on the mat and it did not have any smell whatsoever when i unwrapped it.

In terms of grip i notice my hands slide a little bit while on downward facing dog but nothing massive

From the amazon pics it looked like it would be a lighter green which i preferred but this darker colour is also fine
