This 8x12 sun shade or sail is 90% lowes the heat degrees by a huge significance coming in my living room window. I have a 16 x 14 deck and i bought a 12 x 12 sunshade and it's perfect.

Cons

The fabric is not canvas, not a breathable textile - its just polyethylene mesh. The sand colored one i bought is fading. Maybe it was packed wrong.

See pic, the chalk out line is 10x13 and the shade sail doesn’t come close. This is not rectangular like the description and photo imply. The shade portion is only about 4.
