As long as the stitching is sturdy enough i expect this to last at least as long as my last robe (15 years) very happy with the purchase. Am now ordering some for the rest of the family and donating all our old ones to good will.
It's super big on me, but that's okay because i just use it when i get out of the hot tub. They’re almost to the armpits! It also allows a bit of room to shrink in the wash.
Cons
Strings have been fraying off of it from the get-go. The housecoat is lightweight and static-y. Almost rough even after washing and drying with fabric softener.
Large/xl bathrobe is not only too small to draw across my chest, but the robe itself ends about two inches below my waist. The belt is high so uncomfortable. There's no hood at all to speak of and the thing doesn't even feel like terrycloth.

It almost feels like they kept a regular pattern and added material to the bottom.
They are way too high which makes the belt land between the chest and belly button.

Wish they would sew a seam on the belt in the back so it wouldnt slide around and potentially get lost though

We ordered both a mens and womens robe from this company and this robe was quite nice but for some reason not nearly as thick and plush as the womens robe
