This is the perfect length and chain size for chaining a gate.
Hasn't ever rusted even when left in the rain.
Unless that's actually an intended function of the chain by design, in which case i think i probably just got a defective one.

Because it allowed me to hang a threetier fruit basket from my ceiling one that otherwise would have been way too high in the air so as to provide any reasonable sense of functionality
