And while it defaulted to 2400 that is due to my bios and not because of the ram itself my previous ram was a tforce 2x8gb clocked at 3000mhz but it also defaulted to 2400

Word of advice if your bios also defaults this ram to 2400mhz feel free to clock it back up to 3200mhz but you must also increase your dram voltage to 1
