The taste and texture are not unpleasant. Just looks, smells, and tastes right. No chemicals, no pesticide after taste.

It mixes with room temp water fairly easily. When i make it as a tea and add a little ginger, the taste is actually great.
Cons
The color is brownish, regular ashitaba is green. I feel that is a deceptive practice. Basically, wasted my money.

Color me shocked when i put a scoop into 16 oz latte and i couldn’t taste a single darned iota of change.
It was good, but this product has more oomph, and i love that there is a measuring scoop in the sturdy bag, just very convenient.

It smelled slightly sweet and thought for a second that it had sweeteners… it had that kind of smell but not a bad scent
