My last pair didn't even last a year and the bottom of the shoes wore away flat.
Price
I expect that with anything under about $70 anymore… these are holding up very nicely.
I think the value for the money is as good as it gets with these.
Packaging/appearance
It’s hard for me to find a size 15 that checks all of the boxes.
Competitiveness
I like that the toe box has a little more room than some other brands.
In fact, it works better than the columbia's hiking boots that i expressly bought for carrying loads.
Other brands i end up gluing soles back in, or gluing split seams (if i don’t sew them with an awl).
I got these ones to replace my last pair of asics, the previous venture ones i think.
