The game is an enjoyable two player game and there's never a dull moment. I love strategy games and this one does not disappoint.
The startup guide makes this very easy to learn and doesnt rig the outcome either. The mechanic of the game is sound and appealing for all ages.

It appears 7 wonders is for 37 players while dual is for two players only

In that case its best to play a practice game where the second person learns as they go with recommendations on which cards to pick and why but letting them make their own choices
