Pros & Cons
Pros
This boot is the chiz dizzle! I love the fit, it's the kind of boot i want to wear often instead of dreading to put my boots on for certain things. The tread has a self braking property that keeps it's traction in slick mudd.
I like them as they are, after they mold a bit to your feet. The soles accommodate yak traks / microspikes.
If you want a tough day hiker, this is your guy. I've worn them on a 4 day elk hunt in a wilderness area on the nevada/idaho border. Hiked the rugged terrain of the white mountains of new england for several hundred miles in each pair.
Every pair lasts a long time. And they’re still fine, i just want a backup plan. These things are beasts and will last forever.

The soles of this boot are horrible on wet rock, like dangerously horrible. This damage allows dirt, gravel and other debris to enter the boot.
