Pros

The best 3 season boot imo. My other boots are iditarod 40 below mid-calf. This version of asolo’s boot replaces my 30 year old pair. Bought the boot from an amazon seller, for a size 9.

These are the best hiking boots i've ever worn. Great black leather boots for cold and inclement weather. Great grip when climbing most comfortable boots you'll ever wear.

These boots are the goat - will last (almost) forever. Will give update in a few months.

Cons

Leather on toes was worn and discolored on the first day. Developed a knot on left inner toe first could of days wearing. The soles come off after a year or so.

Rei wouldn't take them back and asolo said tough. With that said, these boots are simply not dependable.

Bought vasque before but they moved to china & the quality fell apart so i moved to asolo & never looked back.

Packaging/appearance

Only draw back is the goretex liner makes summer months sweaty.

Common sense would say the more you pull and flex on the glue, the sooner it’ll fail.

Competitiveness

The first lasted 6yrs with ocassional use before the sole came off in denver airport as i completed a ski trip.

Still maintaining my old pair but may get them re-soled.
