Bird spikes are a great way to keep birds away from your home. Use them on fencing, gutters, or even a spotlight. The spikes are stable and the wiring extend beyond the base of gutters or spotlights.
No more bird poop on the side of my house. Stucco remains clean. Now no more bird droppings for my guests to navigate through.
Cons
Spikes are too far apart to keep off small birds on thin ledge above a window. Back to the drawing board. Have to have the handyman come back and perhaps nail the spike strips.

I had the screws leftover from another project, so they didn't cost me anything.

No pigeons anymore and the spikes are still glued to the boards.

Because i was dealing with an open post at the top how the heck those darn birds were able to build a nest is beyond me i had boards cut to the dimensions of the post and glued the spikes on them

The problem is when im using the deck they take offense and let me know theyre unhappy by perching in a nearby tree and yelling at me
