We have always had trouble with mice

We live in a 1942 farm house that has been redone but we also have cow fields around our home

Using the mouse plank trap bought on amazon worked and i caught 6 of them though it took several weeks before they went for the trap

Within 2 days of plugging in and using we have not heard nor seen any signs of mice anywhere in our home
