My 6 month husky mix @ 55lbs does not fit it in anymore (in the photo), if you need dog size comparison.
This is a good sturdy item but the door latch is so hard to open and close.

This one probably wont get much use now that the trip is over but it was easy to put together and kept him safe on the trip giving him enough room to stretch out but not so much that he could be walking around in it while the car was in motion
