I really only found this becoming a theme towards the end of the game and specifically the cursed pharaoh dlc but i didnt exactly hate it either and understand why they did this with this game because of course this is before prewritten history so they can kinda make some stuff up here but it just feels a bit out of place since the most super natural stuff in this franchise is the isu first civilization and the pieces of eden but i think it was smart making a vast majority of this content dlc so if you dont like this aspect you can skip it if you are wondering how that stuff is possible in this universe well its all loosely connected and created by the isu so its still more or less all science based stuff i guess
